In response to an £8m campus wide refurbishment masterplan, novus are commissioned to provide full turnkey project management services toward various phased interdependent redevelopments, over three academic years.
Alongside the rationalisation and improved utilisation of the Client’s overall estate, the works consist of varying components in order to enhance student experience and surroundings, as well as ensuring global compliance and fit for purpose facilities.
The initial phases within 2020 incorporate a ‘back to shell’ refurbishment and repurposing a proportion of their campus assets, followed thereafter by a series of major demolition, relocation, reconfigurations and end product landscaping work to create a central green heart space.
All of which are to be fulfilled against hard fast academic timelines, stringent budget thresholds, and undertaken within a continuous live operational environment. Safety is naturally paramount, equally, so is the surety of maintaining surrounding operations and services.
