The scheme, currently within the pre-app planning process, is to be located on a site with a current existing hotel function that presents little architectural merit on a constrained site. Following demolition of the existing function, the intent of the scheme is to provide high quality spaces, both internally and externally to enhance and compliment the quality of the street scene, creating a destination quarter in this part of Wandsworth.
Novus have been appointed to lead and drive the team to identify the scheme viability, site constraints, programme and the delivery of both design and commercially efficient cognisance, applicable to a build to rent scheme.
Following development through the complex London planning process, the scheme will progress into the next comprehensive stages of design and procurement, before advancing to site, whereby while interlinked, the construction will need to be phased and coordinated in parallel between the new build residential and hotel aspects.
